I love this salad!! So simple & perfect just the way it is! The peppery flavor of the arugula is great with the steak. The parmesan cheese marries with the dressing in a subtle creaminess and the sweet, roasted peppers are the perfect complement to the vinaigrette and beef. Thank you, Giada!

A life-long fan of grilled beef, I was leery about searing a steak instead. But short on time, I used this recipe. We have had this salad 3 times since then! Beside being quick and easy, it is delicious. Arugula is the perfect green. We sprinkled a few bleu cheese crumbles on arugula instead of parmesan. Adding the meat juices to the oil and vinegar dressing makes for a very flavorful dressing. Served with hot Italian bread. Fabulous!

Being a starter cook, I thought this meal was very easy to make! It took me a half hour all together. I added avocado and used mixed greens instead. It came out so tasty. My boyfriend and I loved it <3 I will be making it often.

I just finished eating this dish and I have to say it turned out much better than I thought! It was so tasty and flavorful-next time I may add a little garlic but it was perfect-and red wine tasted wonderful with it! Husband adored it and will make it more often!

This dish is so easy and quick to make! And above all, it is now one of my husband's favorite dishes! One vital thing I added though was sliced AVOCADO, which goes perfectly with the dish! Also, instead of just arugula I used mixed baby greens (lettuce, chard, arugula, mustard greens, etc, and I used 1 canned roasted red pepper and one whole sauteed red pepper since I love peppers. It is a great summer dish and it goes great with a rose wine. You have to try this dish... You will think you are dining in a four star restaurant!
