    I made this nice summer salad and it was delicious. I did not have pears so I added apples instead. I love the fact that it is not a typical green salad! It is also very versatile. Loved the curry dressing.

    The curry vinaigrette was wonderful! I would have given the recipe 5 stars except I found that making the carrot ribbons was quite tedious. I decided to serve the carrot/pear mixture on a bed of mixed baby greens, and that worked out quite well.

    I made this salad recently and while I liked it quite a bit, the long shreds of carrot were too much. Next time I will shred like I am making carrot salad and will cut the pears a bit smaller. I may add thinly shaved red onion the next time (?. The dressing was great!

    I have made this dressing over and over again. Haven't yet tried the salad- don't feel like shaving all those carrots. The dressing is amazing. Adding fresh basil puts a new twist to the dressing.

    I enjoyed the fact that there was a curry recipe on the show. However, I didnt' love the result. It wasn't bad, I would eat it if put before me, I just didn't love it enough for the effort.

    I have made this salad for a get together with friends and for a thanks giving pot luck at work and both times it was a hit!! A lot of my friends asked for the recipe. It is easy to make and a refreshing anytime of the year salad. Thank you for this easy, delicious recipe!
