It's an all day adventure, over 3 hours! but well worth it. It made my husbands "Fathers Day" very special. Even my 4 year old loved it.

I made this today and was hoping and praying all of the effort and dirty dishes would be worth it. I was not disappointed; this meal is absolutely delicious!! As others said, it is very labor intensive, but it is well worth it and I know I will be making it again. Yum, yum, yum!!!

Wow, what a dinner. I used eye of round roast and baked the day before at 325 degrees for 3 hours. it literally fell apart. The next morning I assembled the lasagna rolls and baked right before dinner. I let it sit for 20 minutes prior to serving. What flavor, everyone enjoyed it. I will certainly make this again. I was able to enjoy time with my guests since the work was done ahead of time. Perfection.

Made this for Father's Day. Everyone absolutely loved it. Although it was very labor intensive (I made the filling the night before, it was well worth it. Will use this recipe again for special occasion.

This is a labor intesive recipe. You will dirty a lot of dishes. That being said, it is WORTH THE EFFORT! This makes for the best lasagna I have ever eaten. The beef comes out tender and full of flavor and the cheese makes the perfect balance. You can keep from over saucing it like most store bought lasangas too, which is a huge plus! I will make this again and again when I want a meal that will impress! YUM!

I enjoyed this so much I'm writing my first review ever. I made it as written except used 1 cup cream and 1/4 cup skim milk since that's what I had. The worst part for me was pulling the meat from the short ribs, but the payoff is worth it. For those having trouble with the cheese sauce, make sure you whisk it to get everything blended. Everyone in my family loved including my 11 year old son who is the pickiest eater ever. I can boldly say that this is the most delicious meal I've ever eaten. You have to try it.

I am the husband of the cook that made this dish. There is not a person that can tell me this is a bad, any person that does not like this,is not a true cook in the sense of a cook. I wish any man would have a wife that could cook and be so beautiful as mine. Before it it was finished I tasted it and cried because of how great it was.
