I have made this dish several times. It's so easy and simple ingredients tend to make for the best flavors. Especially when adding a generous amount of basil and parsley right at the end. You can't go wrong serving this dish and looking like a star! Thanks Giada!

Just made this, and still wow'd! So easy (minus the time consuming part of shrimp cleaning, and although I was out of white wine - red wine worked wonderfully.. and actually gave it a richer color. I didn't use one full cup.. just about 1/4-1/2 cup, because I had used sliced mushrooms with the onions.. and mushrooms give off a bit of liquid. This would be great served with any type of starch, and I can't wait to try this tossed with some angel hair pasta!
Giada - you never ever ever fail. Thank you for your easy, unique, fun, and GORGEOUS recipes!

This was a great recipe on several points. It was quick and easy, didn't require any unusual pantry items, and of course it was tasty. My only complaint is that my boyfriend and I thought it was too salty, so I'd cut the salt in half next time. I also found that tossing the shrimp in a bowl with the crushed red pepper caused a lot of the pepper to get stuck to the bowl, so I ended up adding some more to the simmering sauce. Subbed vermouth as suggested by other reviewers and thought it worked nicely. We enjoyed it over homemade spaghetti and had some fresh french bread on hand to sop up the sauce.

I have been making this, probably since it was first broadcast. Sometimes I substitute calamari, but otherwise, I follow the recipe. Even my finicky grown son asks for this when he stops by.

I added a little bit of old bay seasoning to the shrimp dish, and it was a hit! I served it over brown basmati rice and the flavors were delicious. Also, the dish was very light and low cal, so it was an excellent choice for new year's resolutions.

This recipe is great! I made if for christmas eve dinner and my brother-in-law who is a very critical eater of italian meals LOVED IT. I made it last night again. My husband and I love it!!

The only thing I changed was I use the diced tomatos with jalapenos instead of plain diced tomatoes for extra spice.

    DELICIOUS!!!! EASY AND GREAT!

I'VE MADE THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND IT WAS A CROWD PLEASER EVERY TIME. THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES I SUBSTITUED TALAPIA FOR THE SHRIMP, WHAT A GREAT TASTE. JUST START THE RECIPE FROM ADD THE ONIONS AND THE LAST TWO MINUTES TOSS IN THE CUT UP TALAPIA. IT COOKS INSTANTLY SO DON'T LEAVE IT ON MORE THAN 2 MINUTES. THANKS AGAIN GIADA.

This was a fantastic meal. My fiance absolutely loved it and could not stop eating it. He told me that he would love to have me make the meal again. He said, "Let's eat it tomorrow." Good thing I had some left over. It was simple and easy to make. I will be making this meal many times in the future!
