I've made this often, and in fact served it this summer to 40 guests at a Tuscan garden party to celebrate our wedding. It's so easy and you can easily adapt the red pepper flakes and other herbs to suit your taste. For the person who doesn't drink, I learned years ago from an Italian chef in a cooking class to always keep vermouth in the cupboard for cooking. We're not martini drinkers, but I use it all the time in anything that needs white wine. Works great and you don't have to worry about refrigerating or keeping what you don't use.
    Thanks, Giada...love your recipes!

My son and I loved this recipe. I served it over rice and used Fire Roasted
Diced tomatoes instead. the sauce is very tasty. It was spicy, but we both love
spicy food. It was easy to make and I will certainly make it again. Thanks!

This dish was great. If you don't like it spicy, don't add all of the Red Pepper. I added Pancetta to the pan after the Shrimp and then added chopped onions, garlic, etc. I also added chopped Black Olives. This is a great recipe! I will totally make it again!

If you serve this over Black Squid Ink Linguine It makes a classy Halloween entree. Very Orange and Black with a touch of the Devil! I used shrimp and mussels in mine. Serve with a blood red wine. Everyone loved it!

I made this last night it was so delicious and so easy to make! All I had to buy was shrimp!! It was much cheaper (and probably better than getting it at a restaurant! I added extra red pepper because I like it extra spicy.

I made this dish for company today. Another winner from Giada! It was pretty simple (a little time consuming if you are making a lot, but overall, it was easy and very delicious. There was a nice tomato flavor but it wasn't overwhelming or acidic like heavy tomato sauces can be. It had a nice kick to it. I served it on top of pasta with a green salad and garlic bread. I mixed the sauce with spaghetti and topped it with the shrimp and it looked great on the plate. I made some minor changes: I omitted the basil and used fresh oregano instead of dried and a finely chopped shallot instead of an onion. I never measure anything so I can't comment on Giada's listed measurements, but I can tell you that this dish is very tasty. Everyone wanted seconds!

I will be making this dish over and over again. I made it exactly as written and I wouldn't change a thing. I actually doubled the recipe and it came out great. I read the reviews before I made this dish and I am so glad I did. Several people suggested the Lemon Spaghetti to go with the shrimp and they were right on. I made both with some crusty garlic bread and I felt I was in a fancy Italian restaurant. Thanks Giada!!!!
