I really liked this as did our guest. The lime zest in the sugar really makes it. It is very strong so drink slowly.

The thing I loved about this drink is that all the elements of the drink flowed together quite nicely, and each stood out on its own. With a lot of cocktails, there's usually one taste that overpowers the drink, which isn't always a bad thing! However, I really could taste the lemoncello, the triple sec, even down to the freshness of the lime juice. A truly great drink.

with the use of Limoncello instead of plain lemon juice. I'd like it to be noted that this is in no way a martini. Just because you serve it in a martini glass doesn't make it a martini.

I made this recipe over the weekend, and it was outstanding. A couple of notes:
    - Make your own sweet and sour mix to use in this (4oz each of: water, sugar, lime juice and lemon juice. This will give you enough for 6 martinis and you can use the rest for lemonade!
    - You can make the full batch in advance and put it in the fridge until the guests arrive, then shake it up in batches and pour

Incredible. Trial run for a party - no need to tweak. It rivals top shelf margaritas.
