It was good and its possible i would make it again. Like the recipe says...simple, easy and quick. My daughter liked it and it made enough for me to put in her lunchbox the next day.

Made this recipe twice so far and will be adding to my comfort food repertoire. It was delicious and simple to make as promised. I substituted a mixture of ground veal/pork/beef and near the end added a half a cup of light cream the second time. The carrots and the celery meld together with the onion and garlic to impart a nice fragrance and a depth to the dish. I served over pasta. Yum.

Delicious, quick, easy, hearty sauce. Served over pasta. After tasting the sauce after simmering for 30 minutes, I added a pinch of cinnamon and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Try it out - it is good.

Extremely tasty! I modified by omitting the celery (a family preference, using dried parsley and basil instead of fresh, using a generous amount of salt and pepper, and I only had parmeson cheese, which was very good! A go to recipe that my son and husband devoured!

very nice and easy to make. I added 6 oz. of tomato paste and let it simmer with lid partially covered for 1 hour to thicken, stirring occasionally. Worked and tasted great!

Delicious sauce full of veggies. I served this at a dinner party and wine tasting, and everyone loved it. This sauce is thinner than I expected, but I enjoyed the departure. I froze the leftover sauce and thickened with a grated parm after thawing for an easy weeknight dinner the following week. It was even better the second time around.

This was a simple recipe to prepare, however, it seemed a bit too oily and thin, so I elected to add a 6 oz can of tomato paste to thicken it. I also salted & peppered throughout the vegetable-rendering process, to layer the flavors. I then added cup of very good red wine to add another dimension of flavor.

    Yummy!!!!
i didnt have crushed tomatoes so I used 1 (16oz can of Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic and Oregano and 1 (16oz can of whole San Marzano tomatoes. I added 1T of tomato paste, dash of red pepper flakes and left everyrhing else the same. I loved it!
