Good, easy recipe, and tasty; but figured out I'm just not a bolognese fan. Like more sauce. But healthy & fresh. If you're a bolognese fan, you'll probably really like it.

Rather oddly, this recipe shows up twice. Also oddly, it's classed as "Medium" since it's really easy.
It's certainly OK to have the other vegetables "coarsely chopped," but the carrot needs to be cut into smaller pieces or it will remain in firm chunks even after the 45 minutes of cooking.
Also, Giada's recipe doesn't call for any spices to be used during cooking. Looking at Emeril's recipe, I added some thyme, oregano (don't overdo it!, bay, some nutmeg and some cinnamon. You may also want to add some beef broth for a more liquid sauce.
Definitely I'll be making this again, and probably again and again. It's described as "6 servings." Please note that that is not "6 people." I had three servings just by myself. I couldn't help myself.
Enjoy!

I added some tomato paste and a pinch of sugar. It was much better the second day, so I will definitely make a day ahead next time.

The basics of this recipe were great, but I found it to be far too bland for my taste. I had to add tons of pepper, red pepper flakes, sugar, and extra garlic to get it tasty. Once I added all of those ingredients though, it was fabulous. I loved the texture and consistency of the sauce. My husband ate it every day for 3 days!

It's was really good, The carrots and celery really make the dish what it is. You don't have to worry about them ruining the taste of the sauce. At first I wasn't sure about them being in the dish but it turned out to be really good, and everyone I made it for loved it too.

WOW!! This is delicious. I added some garlic salt at the end while seasoning it. I also mixed it with a pound of rigatoni, and that was what made the meal. I highly recommend this. It's quick, simple, and inexpensive. For those who don't like carrots or celery, you won't even taste them.

Very tasty sauce.
If you dice all the veggies and put them in piles the dish goes 1 2 3. I didn' have any leftovers.
