Got a bunch of smoked salmon as Xmas gifts this year, so what do you do with it all...This recipe filled the bill perfectly. No need to buy extra ingredients, everything you already have at home, plus waist conscience. And the best part, it tasted great.
Be sure to make extra, cuz everyone will want seconds.

Just got done making this salad. I really enjoyed it. I wanted a little extra texture so i chopped the other half of the apple and added to the salad. The dressing and smoked salmon was amazing. I will make this again and again.

This salad is absolutely delicious. The dressing is so unique and the flavors combine beautifully. I did not have walnuts on hand so I toasted some pumpkin seeds instead, very good. It's decadent and rich, but all the good kind of fat!

I just finished making and eating this. The dressing is absolutely delicious. At first, I thought the texture was a bit grainy and odd but once tossed with the other ingredients it was fine and the flavor was amazing. I really enjoyed the sweet and savory component. My only critic is that the acidity in the dressing affects the texture of the smoked salmon after it sits for a bit. Next time I may try adding fresh roasted salmon to the salad instead of smoked.
