My husband has a lot of trust in my ability to recognize the makings of a tasty sandwich, but he admitted that he worried I was about to adulterate a perfectly good BLT. After finishing his first sandwich, then going back for a second, he claims Giada's Smoked Salmon BLT may have ruined regular BLTs for him forever. The smoked salmon flavor blended so well with the bacon, and the lemon/dill mayo was a perfect condiment. A shout-out to Whole Foods 365 mayo...I'm not sure my homemade mayo can compare. Even their light version (which I didn't use this time--went for the whole fat stuff is very, very good.

Super yummy lunch. This was my first experience with smoked salmon. I'm hooked! Great flavor combos. I was nuts about that lemon dill mayo. I have used that element with other dishes of my own. I made one half of my sandwich on toasted bread and the other non-toasted. I think the flavors of the whole grain bread were more present after toasting and the crunch was a nice addition as well.

Absolutely delish!!! Great new twist on an old favorite. Great for a picnic or even for a different kind of brunch. My kids loved it too!

This sandwich was a hit! The mayo was wonderful with the dill and lemon zest. I did not have just arugula so I used a Spring mix and the colors added to the visual appeal! Thank you.

It's hard to go wrong with smoked salmon! It's always been one of my favorites. This sandwich was quick, easy, and delicious. I also threw some avocado slices into mine for a little something extra. Definitely made it onto my favorite lunch list!!

My 9 year old son made this for dinner tonight. The family loved it. The mayonnaise with lemon juice/zest and fresh dill was amazing!

Love, Love, Love!! Just like the recipe states, no changes needed. We especially love the mayonaise sauce. We make it all the time and use it on other sandwiches and on fish too. Good one Giada.
