Absolutely fantastic! Even for folks who aren't the biggest melon lovers. This has to be one of my very favorite recipes of Giada's, and believe me I've made a ton. Made this quite a few times (we happen to love it with bucatini, and it never disappoints! As weird as it sounds, it is nothing short of glorious!

Food Network recipes are one of my 'go to' resources. This recipe is in a category all of its own. I started making it right after I saw the show. It is so sophisticated, balanced, and beautiful. Yes, it is unusual and many won't try it for that reason. However, if you have some foodie friends you want to impress, this is the recipe. If you just want to have something delicious for you, this is the recipe. Try it, please!

I knew that the concept was more like the prosciutto and melon (salty sweet flavor profile, but as I tasted the sauce, I was worried. But once I put the cheese into the sauce, it was DELICIOUS! Completely different than anything you will have had before. I will say if you don't have great cantaloupe, it will adversely affect the outcome.

This was quite easy to make and elicited many compliments from my guests. Of course anything you make with a little cream is delicious, but this was different, satisfying, company-worthy and absolutely yummy. Pasta and cantelope -- who'd a thunk it?! Great!
    Try it!

Oh my word. I could eat this sauce as a soup. I have to say I have loved everything I have made of Giada's Nonna Luna. She had a recipe on quite awhile ago where she made her Nonna Luna's shrimp, and it is one of my favorite recipes now. What I wouldn't give for a copy of her recipes!

This pasta is delicious. I served it with green beans sauteed in pancetta, and it was fantastic. Thank you Giada for sharing these beautiful recipes. They bring me back to Italy every time.

I made this for dinner last night, having no idea what to expect, but hoping for the best. It was pleasantly surprising! The sauce was delicious and I can't really say any one flavor jumped out or overpowered the dish. Everything blended very well together and it was pretty darn good! I will definitely make this again.

So unique and delicious! For a side dish, I sauteed zucchini and proscuitto in garlic olive oil. Paired beautifully with this very rich pasta. I used half n half instead of heavy cream, and it was still very rich. Very much appreciate Giada sharing her Grandma's recipes with us!

I love trying new things. I actually did not love or hate it. It just kind of makes you say hmmmmm, it's different. If I make it again, I might try it with prosciuto. The mellow taste of the cantaloupe would pair nicely with it.

Really quite surprised! I've never worked with a melon/whiskey combo and this turned out delicious!
