loved this! but my store didn't have prosciutto or smoked mozzarella, so i substituted regular fresh mozzarella and bacon. the smokiness from the bacon takes the place of the smokiness you would get from the smoked mozzarella, and it was delicious! and who doesn't like bacon?

I get requests to make this for every occasion. But I added a pkg. of crumbled bacon to the finished dish and I add a carton of sliced mushrooms when I saute the garlic in olive oil. Everyone is crazy over this dish and has become a family favorite.

Absolutely delicious...Simple and so tasty. My husband, who is not the biggest fan of asparagus, loved it as well. Would be a great spring/summer dinner.

Really good and super easy. The smoked mozzarella gives the dish a really nice flavor.

Prosciutto's were half off today so I searched for a Giada recipe and found this. Made it tonight and family really liked it :. Loved the Asparagus, Basil and Smoked Mozzarella. Will be making this again.

I made this the other night for dinner. Came out really delicious. My boyfriend loved it too. I wonder how it would be with regular mozzarella and not smoked. Maybe next time I will try. Will definitely make this dish again!

I made this recipe using the cookbook instructions which are slightly different (add asparagus to pasta water midway through cooking pasta and it is arguably the EASIEST midweek dinner. The flavors are wonderful, it tastes like a lot of work, yet all the prep for it can be done before the water boils for the pasta! A true winner.

Good! Not amazing, but pretty good! I loved how the mozarella melted and made the pasta all cheesy. That, along with porchuitto and asparagus was a great combination!! My mother couldn't get enough of it.
