Very tasty! I did everything as suggested but skipped the pasta. I ate it with a hunk of baguette instead and it really hit the spot. A must try but remember to soak your clams to remove the sand.

OMG! This was so good! Surprisingly so, I have had linguine with clams numerous times but made this because I was looking for something quick for dinner. It was great! I actually didn't have wine and used more lemon juice as well as 1 pound clams 1 can whole clams-fast, easy, delicious--perfect

This was so delicious and so easy to make! It's the perfect amount of sauce, and the clams shine in this yummy pasta dish! We will definitely be making this again and again...thanks Giada!

Delicious! Giada's recipes are very well written. Make sure you soak your clams to get the sand out before you cook them (you can google tips on how to do this.

WOW WOW WOW! This was so easy to make it is RIDICULOUS! My husband could not stop saying that this was incredible! He loved it, and so did I! I added a little bit of cayenne pepper at the end to give just the tiniest hint of heat. I also used a little bit Meyer Lemon Olive Oil instead of the Lemon Zest and that was an incredibly good call!! Served with a wedge of Parmesan to be grated on at the table and some freshly ground black pepper. Did I say WOW? Oh yeah, I upped the wine to almost 1 full cup and probably only used about 1/4 cup of olive oil at the beginning. I definitely think increasing the wine was a really good call.

I try Giada's recipes all the time, but this is only my second review. I just had to write a review for this dish because it is by far the best clam dish I've ever made! The butter, wine, shallots and garlic give such depth to the clams, and the sauce is simple, yet rich and fantastic! It is great to serve with bread to soak up the sauce. I used a little more wine and butter than called for to make sure I had enough sauce. This is something I will make again and again to impress guests and for a quick weeknight meal that comforts the soul.

My 90 year old Sicilian mother said this is how she remembered it from her childhood...............like so many of Giada's receipts. Carlo

Top 5 recipe on this website! It is SO easy and it tasetes SO complicated. It is perfect, change nothing!!
Spend 2 bucks more on a real good spaghetti and make sure that it is slightly undercooked when you add it to the sauce/clam mixture so that it soaks up all the delicious flavors!

I made this with Anne Burrell's foccacia recipe, it makes a great combination :

Very good. A little oily - will use 1/4 cup next time.
