My husband and I said it was "delicious" with or without the glaze.

Family and friends loved this cake! And it didn't even need the icing - it was just fantastic by itself. And so easy to make!

This is the second year I've made this for Thanksgiving and it is amazing. It's great for breakfast the next day. My parents told me to take it home with me because they couldn't stop eating it. This is a win and a nice addition to the dessert table beside all those pies.

Made this in a fluted tube pan - presentation is nice. Followed recipe as written, used Pink Lady apples and the taste is very good. The spice level is almost too much for me, but very suited to those who love a good spice cake. The frosting makes it extra yummy. It was great to have with a cup of tea in the morning!

This was the perfect cake, everyone enjoyed it. Perfect balance of taste and sweetness. Will be making for Thanksgiving, can't wait to see if the family loves it as much as friends did.

I totally love this cake! I followed it exactly with the syrup and brown sugar despite other recommendations. It was so moist and STAYED moist! It has just the right balance!!!

LOVE this recipe!! I used plain ole' pancake syrup. I made it the first time for my family, and they all loved it. The second time I made it for a potluck style dinner at our campground.... and there was nothing left. I baked mine for 60 mins as well .... and it came out perfect!!
