Now Giada, where exactly do I find cheese rinds in the grocery store? I really don't have week old cheese rinds on hand. And I understand that when you go to a grocery store, you do have to get all of the ingredients, because you don't find all of your ingredients in your back pocket.

Loved it! Made it for lunch for my parents and brother's family at a pre Christmas get together. Lot's of ingredients but so easy to make. 30 min. tops to make. I cut the chili powder from a 1/2 cup to a 1/3 cup and did 2 pinches of Red pepper flakes. Still spicy for those who love spicy but not too spice for those who don't love it. Note: Make for a large crowd or cut in half.

Soup was amazing. Didn't have squash or zuchini, but wasn't missed much. Also, didn't have fresh basil so used some dried basil earlier, with fresh parsely on top. Finally, didn't have lentils so used orchiette pasta, was one of the best soups I've made! Tasted so healthy too... Thank you GD!

I saw Giada make this and I made it for dinner the next day. It's my new favorite soup! I also made it for a sick friend and she loved it, AND my mother is making it for Christmas Eve dinner. What a hit!

This recipe makes a great hearty soup with a perfect amount spice. There was enough for us to freeze half for another day.

I usually love Giada's recipes. This one I disliked ... a lot. Even though it was VERY spicy, the overall effect was weak and insubstantial. Well, you can't win 'em all.

This recipe had so much flavor!! I added some ground turkey to mine since my husband insisted on having meat. It was great with or without it.

It is good but I got tired of the taste after the second day. Half the recipe can definitely serve 6 people.
