    Pretty good. My family enjoyed the meal. I did cut the Cayenne by half and the tabsco by 1/3. Was the the perfect "kick" for kids. I would use full seasoning for just adults, however. I think I would try panko too next time as the cornmeal didn't turn out so crispy.

    I made these chicken tenders last night for my family and they loved them!! I read the reviews and was about to back out of making this recipe; but decided to make a test run with just one tender. It came out perfect so I fixed to pans and not one was left. I also added paprika to the cornmeal and mustard to the egg and hot sauce mix. Cornmeal has to be moist so use a good amount of Olive Oil over them before placing them in the oven. The honey mustard was perfect and to think I have been buying bottle after bottle in the supermarket. My family gave this recipe 2 thumbs up ;

    I love Giada's recipes and show. I do make her recipes quite often and love them. This one was not so good. I did not care for the cornmeal breading. Like the other reviews it was gritty and no flavor. However I did have leftovers and the next day the cornmeal breading had very good flavor but I still did not care for the texture of the cornmeal. Next time I will try it with breadcrumbs or panko. The honey mustard was very good, my husband loved it.

    I agree with the other reviews that the cornmeal did not stick to all the tenders and the texture was gritty and no flavor. Breadcrumbs or Panko would have made this recipe work well. Baking was great which helped to keep the fat content as well as the calories down. I will make these again but with breadcrumbs instead.

    I made these the other day for me and my dad, and they were a huge hit with both of us, which is really saying a lot consider chicken is probably my least favorite protein! The crust was very flavorful - I loved the cornmeal instead of breadcrumbs and totally intend to continue using them for this sort of dish. As for the spices, I actually added a little paprika to my blend in addition to the other spices to sweeten it up and it was very successful. The olive oil drizzle overtop of the tenders was a great tip, and definitely helped produce a nice and crispy crust. These were also great as leftovers - just pop them back in the oven on low heat and they're as good as if you've just made them!

    ....and these were not very good. The chicken itself was ok, but the breading/coating was dry and gritty tasting. I had to coat them in tons of ketchup, BBQ sauce and honey mustard to get the family to eat them.

    I used Panko and I pan fried the tenders in olive oil before I put them in the oven. That seemed to work well. It was a fun project for the Grandkids to do. I put the assembly line together and had the kids dip the tenders.

    i usually love giada's food!! i got home from a long day at work, and cooked these tenders for my boyfriend... unfortunately, they were a disaster! the breading does not stay on the chicken, and it is very bland. even my bf, hated it!! maybe breadcrumbs would work better?!

    I really loved this chicken, it turned out so moist and and crispy. I didn't have cornmeal so I used panko bread crumbs instead, the result was great. I also added more seasoning, which I really think it needed. Next time I might add even more. I served it with the mustard sauce as well as the salad that was shown in the same episode, everything was so good.

    The cornmeal gave it a weird tecture and flavor. The only good thing I could say about these chicken tenders is the chicken is very moist and juicy but the coating is terrible.
