We had green Swiss chard in the garden, no kale. This was an excellent side dish with the substitution. Only other change was one teaspoon of salt, due to my husbands? dietary needs. We just finished dinner and I have told him to start some more chard for the garden. Green beans are already on the way. Thanks for a great hit!

What a wonderful dish!!! We were all getting tired of "green bean" casserole so decided to try something different. This dish was very quick to make. Even our little ones liked it!!!

This dish was a hit! My whole household loved it from 19 to 74 years old! My husband took one bite and said, "This is a keeper!" I made it last night as a pre-Thanksgiving trial, and it will be served on Thanksgiving without a doubt!

This recipe looks great but does the Kale come out bitter by not boiling it first??

I just had to point out that the recipe calls for fresh green beans I'm assuming, but the photo here is with canned green beans I think. LOVE green beans!

I'm always looking for new ways to mix veggies together and this recipe was great! I'll definitely be making it again. Personally, next time I might add a little bit more white wine, because I could really taste it and I'll grate fresh parmesan cheese because I find the pre grated one a bit strong and overpowering. But definitely try this recipe out.

Excellent taste, easy and offers a great way to get those calcium and iron loaded green leafies we need. I am saving this recipe for sure!
