The steak sandwiches were awesome! Everybody LOVED them. Now, we make them all the time. Giada, you are great! Every recipe I have tried has turned out fantastic. I love your show and your cookbooks! :

My husband and I tried this steak sandwich last night & it was so delicious. We made the steak exactly following the receipe and the cheese spread also. I used peteit sirloin steaks, instead of rib-eye steaks and marinaded for two hours. Instead of arugula, we put grilled red peppers and sauted mushrooms. I have never eaten a better steak sandwich. I might steal the marinade for our chicken dishes as well. Try it, you will love it.

I tested this recipe in advance for the game day just to make sure that it tastes good. Wow!!! The steak was delicious. My husband really did like the meat although he isn't a big beef eater. A suggestion would be to allow your meat to marinade a little longer for a more potent taste.

I use this recipe any time I make steak. One recommendation is that you also season the steak with some kosher or sea salt and black pepper too, but other than that, you cannot fail!

I am not a steak person, but when I saw this made on T.V. I had to have it! I didn't do the sandwich, just used the marinade and crumbled the cheese on top. It was great!

I marinated the steak for 3 hours instead of 2 and it was still incredibly juicy after the grill. If you aren't a fan of gorgonzola cheese, just use a little less than the recipe calls for or spread it thinly on the bread. These sandwiches are great for a summer dinner- healthy, delicious and light!
