I have only tried one other scone recipe, and I was not happy with the results.... but these turned out fantastic! I had no strawberry jam, so I used Swedish lihgonberry preserves (thanks, Ikea. I wonderful tart touch!! Fast and easy.

These scones were amazing! They were my first attempt at scones from scratch and my family ate them all up! The rosemary really adds a great flavor and the lemon glaze is the perfect complement to the scone! I am putting this recipe on my list of favorites!

This was my first attempt making scones from scratch. Based on another review I used about 3/4 cup dried cranberries and lemon zest (no oranges. My husband and I ate 2 scones each and had to force myself to stop! I think this is a great "basic" scone recipe and you can substitute many ingredients. Can't wait to try with the rosemary and strawberry!

This recipe turned out way more like a sweet tasty cookie than a scone. My husband and I felt it was way too sweet for breakfast . Not the rising slightly sweet scone I prefer. Good combo of flavors with the strawberry, rosemary, and lemon.

I have made these twice now and both times they turned out perfect and got rave reviews! I brought them to work and people kept coming by my desk and telling me how great they were! Don't be nervous about the rosemary....it makes the scones! I am getting ready to bake up a double batch to put in my Christmas gift baskets along with her Homemade Marshmallow recipe and some hot cocoa mix. Thanks again Giada! Your recipes never dissappoint!

These were so easy to make and really delicious. I had a little trouble with the dough being sticky so I refrigerated it for about an hour and then rolled it out on floured parchment paper. Needed to make them about 1/4" in stead of the suggested 1/2" since they doubled in size when baking and didn't hold the heart shape. But, no matter what shape they turned into, they still were great!

These scones were so easy to make, and they were great! You can taste a hint of the rosemary, and they are the perfect texture. My icing was too thin, so it ended up being a glaze instead of an icing - I'll fix this the next time, and I will make these again! Thanks to Giada for such a great recipe!

I baked these scones this morning and sent some with my husband to work and I also took some to work to share with our co-workers. Everybody loved, loved, loved them. My husbands co-workers ordered a dozen more for next week and my co-workers wanted me to start bringing them to work to sell for breaks. I'm going to bake more tomorrow with my grand-daughter. I love the taste of rosemary, but only us it on chicken or fish. I never thought of using it in a sweet dish. Give us more scone receipes.

Wow! I follow the recipe for the dough, but instead of adding rosemary and strawberry as the recipe called, I added 1/3 cup of cranberries and orange zest. It turned out delicious! Soft and moist. This is a low calorie and low fat scone recipe with out sacrificing the flavor and Its just delicious!. Next time, I will try the Strawberry and Rosemary Scones. Thank you Giada for your healthy and delicious recipes,

I didn't have the heavy cream so I made mine using 1/3 cup melted butter and 3/4 cup 2% milk (I only use 2%. Too much liquid. Had to add flour, but they came out wonderfully, especially good while slightly warm. I also used a small amt of chopped, dried rosemary (no fresh on hand, and I didn't have strawberry so I used blackberry preserves. Ummmm, really good with the lemon glaze. I will make these for a tea party I'm planning! I wish these dry measurements were also given by gram weight.
