These were incredibly easy and delicious! Baking tends to intimidate me but I'm happy to say that I did it! Thanks Giada!!

Holy moly! These scones are fantastic. I've never been a scone person, because too frequently they're heavy and dry and dull. I thought I'd give these a shot, though. I was intreagued by the rosemary. I tasted the dough before I baked them, and I almost ate the entire bowl right then! I made six strawberry and six raspberry, because so many people commented about positive experiences with both. My husband couldn't even wait for the glaze to "set" before eating FOUR of them. I'd recommend these suckers to anybody, and I will be making them many more times in the future. I'm excited to experiment with different flavor combos, too. The dough is a brilliant canvas for just about anything you can dream up, I'd say. If you're on the fence about trying this recipe, let me go ahead and push you over into a decision. DO IT!

The best scones I've ever had!! I received fabulous comments on these scones. The rosemary and strawberry flavors really compliment one another.

Amazingly delicious. I make these scones very often.
I have them with coffee for breakfast, lunch desert and even with tea in the afternoon. I even make the dough and refridgerate it overnight and make the scones for breakfast. For me the best results is when the dough is refridgerated before rolling out. Very Delicious

absolutely delicious. i substituted raspberry jam because i prefer it to strawberry, and it came out very well. one tip, make sure the scone is at least 1/2 inch thick going in--anything thinner and the jam sort of boils over. still an excellent recipe.

You need 3/4 cup of sugar instead of 1/2 a cup - & I don't like things too sweet, but these scones need it if you're going to eat them on their own. The recipe turned out great with the additional sugar - it made 11 square scones for me & I had to cook them for 20mins. I loved the fresh rosemary & the jammy center - very unique.
