These are absolutely unbelievably delicious!!!!! I have made them 3 times and I am making them again tonight for my Mom's work meeting tomorrow! They are unusual and soooooooooooooo good. I adjusted the time alittle bit because my oven runs a little hot!! Thank you Giada!!!

Nice light flavored dessert. I used blackberry on some and apricot on a few. My husband is not a fan of lemon so I made a vanilla glaze. They can be addictive especially when you love rosemary like me! :

Consistency was cake-like and light. Loved it!. Used raspberry jam and no glaze. Delicious without the glaze. Very interesting flavour.

These are so delicious. I used raspberry jam instead of strawberry. Definitely go a little sparingly on the water in the glaze or it can be pretty watery. My friends loved these scones!

I agree with some of the ppl who said these are more like cookies and I also had a bit of a hard time with the dough but I thought it was because I used half and half instead. For the person who mentioned English scones, I'd love to get my hands on that recipe... I LOVE SCONES and that is why I tried this recipe but I am glad I did it because they are good although mine came out sort of dry... I am thinking that perhaps my though was rolled out thinner ... Thanks everyone for your input it also helps a lot :

I'm new to fresh herbs, so when I made the scones I used fresh tarragon (rather than rosemary by mistake. They were EXCELLENT! My husband couldn't stop talking about how good they were! A week or two later I realized the mistake I made and decided to make them with the rosemary. They were good, too, but the one's with the tarragon were better! Try the recipe with fresh tarragon! It has a slight licorice flavor. You'll be glad you did!

My husband & I loved them - unique flavor. I will make them a little thicker next time (10" circle made them less than 1/2" thick so pushed dough together to make smaller circle but will roll them to the 1/2" thick next time. Yes, can reduce amt. of glaze (it provides way too much BUT these were incredible. Plan to make for 6 couples going away to lodge the first of Oct. - know they will be a treat for us all. I love the raspberry and husband preferred strawberry - either one a winner. THANKS, GIADA.
