These were a very nice treat. They took a little bit too long for my liking, but even if you stop cooking them 15 minutes early, they don't turn out right. I tried putting dried fruit in these, but if you put to many in, it gets too sweet and too heavy. I'd like to try this with the flash dried fruit, but these are good without anything in them too. Truely like a cloud.

These were *delicious*!!! Though the recipe called for "superfine" sugar, regular granulated worked just fine. Got the freeze dried strawberries in the snack aisle at Target. I really enjoyed baking *and* eating them!

These were great!! I had such fun making the cookies. And yes they do melt in your mouth. It was so hard finding the freze dried strawberrys. I went to 2 diffrent stores to find them. But it all payed off denfinetly! They were relly good. I know i will make them again!

Oh my gosh these are so good! I just bought a kithenaid mixer and the first thing I wanted to make was meringe cookies. I had some freeze dried srawberries in my pantry so I went for it. You won't be disappointed, they melt in your mouth like Giada said "cotton candy". This will be a recipe that I'll use again and again. Next time I will use the freeze dried blueberries i have. Hmmm. Maybe tommorrow!

These were incredible! So light and fluffy. I didn't have freeze dried strawberries, so I used regular dried strawberries and they still turned out great. I'll definitely make them again!!

these were sooooo good. i did add mini chocolate chips, but next time i think i will leave them out. i also think i might add less sugar. i was always very scared to make meringue cookies but they were so easy to make!!! i used a hand mixer and they turned out crisp on the outside and chewy and delicious on the inside....CLOUDS for sure! Giada picked the perfect name for this recipe! STOP READING REVEIWS AND GO MAKE IT!

I figured it didn't matter what was folded in at the end, as long as there wasn't moisture that would collapse the mix. So I went with semi-sweet chocolate chips. But the essence of this recipe--the meringue clouds--is what I'm reviewing. Keep in mind that even though it says cook time is 2 hours, you are supposed to cool them for an additional 2, so really, you have 4 hours to wait. I love the way these things just dissolve away. I had fun making them and even more fun sharing them!
