Sorry Giada but I did not like this, and I eat everything. It got good reviews and I'm looking for an easy stuffed mushroom recipe so I tired it, but I agree with the person that said it was like sand in your mouth. It also lacked flavor. I may try stuffing the mushrooms with cheese and then sprinkling the mixture on top for some crunch.

This recipe was simple and delicious. There were none leftover after Thanksgiving dinner so I whipped up a second batch the next day. I'll make these again and again!!

I saw this being made on everyday Italian about 3 years ago. It has since become a Thanksgiving tradition in my home. They are very easy to make. I would only suggest putting the mushrooms on the middle rack and not too close to the burners. I made that mistake one year and they got a little too dark around the edges. Definately give this recipe a try or look for it on Everyday Italian.

I have tried stuffed mushrooms in restaurants with a wow taste. And these even though they taste good, it seems like if they are missing a secret ingredient for more flavor.

This might be the only Giada recipe that I've made that I don't like. It's too gritty. The main substance of the stuffing is the breadcrumbs, so it's crunchy and not a good texture.
