I was very much looking forward to these mushrooms, but they were incredibly dry and tasteless - it needed the addition of something else besides breadcrumbs and cheese to make it work - sausage? Meat? The mushroom stems chopped up?

My family and I enjoy this dish thouroughly, we have added it to our regular menu, and I don't even need to read the instructions to cook it anymore. We use bacon most of the time because it is easier than getting prosciutto (sp? and it is still wonderful. We never have enough no matter how much we cook.

Have always considered these a restaurant treat, so was thrilled to make them myself for a family gathering. No leftovers, to be certain, and perfect for a potluck supper.

I will definitely cut back on the water next time I make this :o I didn't use sausage because I don't like it.. and really wanted a meat-free recipe. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed them!

First I have to say I love Giada and almost every other recipe of her's that I have tried was delicous. I was really dissapointed with this recipe. I followed the recipe to the "T". The mushrooms very so dry! And also very salty. Sorry, but I just thought this one was not good at all. Maybe it would be good with plain breadcrumbs(italian crumbs were too salty! and a little egg and sausage....

I'm not the biggest mushroom fan but I had to bring something to my vegetarian cousins party. They were simple to make and turned out great. Very tasty. My husband loved them and we're going to add sausage for the next party. I did chop some of the stems and add it to the stuffing as well as limiting the amount of oil I used. I may add more cheese too. Try it!

Soo good, restaurant quality & perfect. Prepare exactly the way she says. Best when eaten fresh and warm out of the oven...

I have to say I was very skeptical about using mint, but these were the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever had. I made a double recipe for a Christmas party and they were gone before they cooled off.

Very easy to make, however the cheese made it too salty for my taste, I used 1/2 parmesan. I prefer the regular size mushrooms as the 2 1/2in are too big to manage in a mouthful.

So tasty and aromatic while baking. Since "saltiness" is such a subjective thing, people need to adjust seasonings to their own personal preferences before condemning a recipe. Thank you, Giada, we loved them.
