    This was delicious! I cut the pancetta to 4 ounces, and the red pepper to 1 teaspoon, but otherwise followed the recipe. I prepped them a day in advance to serve on Christmas Eve. It was so nice to be able to pull it from the fridge and pop it in the oven, without spending the whole afternoon in the kitchen. Will definitely make this again, maybe freezing half for later dinners.

    This recipe is so yummy!!! To make it a bit healthier I used skim milk mozzerella. I also used 1 tub whole milk ricotta and 1 tub skim milk ricotta. I also used prosciutto instead of pancetta but only 4 oz since it's so salty. Will make this again!!!!

    This Arrabbiata Sauce is the best I have ever had. The smoke from the pancetta and the heat from the pepper flakes come together in a lovely finish. Not only these shells wonderful, try Giada's turkey and artichoke stuffed shells. I make extra shells and place them on a cookies sheet to freeze. Once frozen, I place them in ziplock bags and I take out as many as I need when I need them. I also make extra sauce and freeze in 3 cup servings. A meal is always ready. Thanks for the recipe!

    Made this 2 nights ago and my boyfriend loved it. it's now one of his favorites. easy to make and you can prepare it ahead of time. tks Giada for another great recipe :

    I have made this recipe a few times; my husband and daughters love it. It's very flavorful and, also, easy to make. I'm fortunate to have a small Italian grocery store nearby, so I have their store-made marinara, fresh ricotta, and sliced-to-order pancetta!

    Good recipe but def* need to cut back on the red pepper flakes and I also thought it was too salty, I would recommend cutting back on the amount of salt as well. Next time I will either only add a pinch of the red pepper flakes or just leave that ingredient out. But overall this was a VERY tasty meal. I will be making it again!
