I have been making this recipe since I first saw Giada prepare it. The first time I served it was at a bar-b-que. It was a huge hit! I use whatever fruit I have on hand. I am particularly fond of the kick the mint gives it. This is a recipe that is worth keeping.

This recipe is a family favorite we have served for ages -- especially good for hot, summer entertaining when you want something refreshing and easy. We make this with whatever fruit we have on hand and it is equally good served alone, over ice cream, or with angel food cake. My favorite fruit combination is to use mixed berries and watermelon.

My sister-in-law introduced this recipe to me 3 years ago. I loved it so much we served it at my wedding reception and it's been a regular Spring/Summer dish in my home ever since. It's incredibly simple. I usually make it the day before which allows the fruit to soak up more of the wine and mint flavors. It's always a favorite when I take it to share. I tend to add a bit more mint, grapes and strawberries to even things out a bit more. No need to buy an expensive wine for this recipe.

A friend made this when she hosted an "All Italian Weekend." Everyone swooned over this refreshing dessert. It's fresh, light, sweet even the second day! It's a keeper.

I've made this recipe several times, and vary the fruit depending on my mood. I like using red grapes because tint the liquid a lovely pink color, and sometimes use some banana. It's best eaten within 2-3 days, as the mint and fruit will become soggy if left in the fridge too long.

this was very easy, and a big hit at one of our barbecues! I was worried about the mint flavor overtaking this mix, but I really thought it was a perfect amount. I also added raspberries into the mix. Delicious!

This fruit salad is simple and absolutely delicious. I make it often and never get tired of it. I love the sophisticated flavor of wine and refreshing mint paired with sweet summer fruit!

This is by far the best light summer dessert I have tried yet! I usually have to have some sort of chocolate in any desert, but the sweetness of the wine and sugar with the fruit was surprisingly satisfying. I used peaches instead of cantaloupe, which was fantastic. I also made the dish about 6 hours before eating, which really gave the fruit a chance to absorb the wine. *Be careful not to go overboard on the mint. I think it tastes best if it is chopped very, very finely.
