This salad was excellent. I am not a huge mint fan, so I was skeptical, but made it with a lunch for my guests. It got rave reviews and was really very good. The mint is subtle, not overpowering. It's a mellow summer dessert. Very easy to make.

This was so simple and looks so elegant in a dessert dish with a sprig of mint. Recommend for summer dinner parties!

Excelent. However next time I think I would let it chill in all the wine/sugar syrup but would serve it with just a little drizzled over the fruit. The consistancy was a little too "soup-e" for me. But great flavors and beautiful colors from the fresh fruit.

I made this recipe because I loved the idea of all the beautiful colors of delicious fruit blending with wine and sugar. Unfortunately, it did not turn out well for me. The canteloupe overpowered the other flavors and didn't mix well with my choice of white wine, but the strawberries and grapes were wonderful. I think this recipe has great potential and I will tweak it a bit. Next time I will choose some different fruits and definitely a different wine!

When i watched her making this my mouth watered! So right after is was on I went to the local market then came home and made it myself. It smelled and tasted even better than I imagined. But here's a tip: I have made this MANY times both with fresh and dried mint and the fresh is the obvious winner. But to Giada 2 thumbs way way up!

Served this at 2 different parties and was enjoyed by everyone. Included mangos for extra color and taste. Easy and tasty.

Absolutely delicious. A good twist on fruit. I used Grand Marnier instead of wine. A good variation. I believe coconut rum could be substituted also.
