I made this last night for my husband to bring to his Draft Party, and it was a huge hit! I bought 3 lbs of wings and 3 lbs of normal-size drums and then tripled the marinade. I cooked the chicken, boiled the marinade, and dumped them all in a crockpot. Over 6 lbs of chicken for only about 7 people and they were completely gone by the end of the night! Delicious recipe!! :

I made this for pork tenderloin. I left out the marsala wine on purpose to see if it would still be good & it WAS! I used about 1/2 the amount of pepper flakes & chili powder because I wasn't sure if it would be too spicy for my kids.
I seared the tenderloin for 4 minutes(1 minutes on each side & then transferred it to the oven 400 degrees for about 18-20 minutes.

I had in my mind that I would have wings for super bowl sunday and saw Giada make this on a show. It is absolutely amazing - a wonderful blend of sweet with pineapple juice, marsala and brown sugar, and savory with soy, sesame. I grated the garlic to get the most flavor possible and went with 1 1/2 t. red pepper flakes. It was perfect on the heat with a definite kick. Do use foil and spray it well or you will not be happy with the lost chicken or mess to clean up. I saved 1/3 of marinade and thickened only that for the sauce with cornstarch. It too was plenty and very good. I will be making this again for sure. A definite hit!! Thanks Giada for a great, easy recipe.

This was my first recipe of Giada's. I saw it on the show and HAD to make it. I didn't have drumettes so I used legs which I had in the freezer. The marinade was easy to make and turned out great. I would have added a bit more salt and will next time. I have a toddler and she was able to eat these... Not too spicy at all. It was a hit with our family!

Loved it! Both my boys who are picky eaters loved it! I didnt baste a couple of them in the sauce and instead cut them up and put a small amount of BBQ sauce on them for my son and he ate them right up. My husband actually ate them and got seconds! Enough said on that one! HUGE fan of this recipe! Served it with cheesy rice. Yummy!

GREAT SPICY TASTE. NEXT I'M GOING TO DO A BATCH OF WINGS. I USED MY GRILL AND COOKED THEM INDIRECT, BECAUSE OF THE SUGAR. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T EVER USED YOUR MARINADE AS A SAUCE! MAKE EXTRA FOR BASTING OR DIPPING. SAVE THE GAMBLING FOR VEGAS.
