What a great idea to use the couscous as a binder for the meatballs! The flavor was very complex and the dish had such aromatics.

They may have not been real Greek meatballs, but they were great. Different flavors and light. My husband even liked it. If you are willing to go outside the box and try something different, this is it.

Delicious, light, just not your average meatball - in a good way. The aroma while cooking had my family asking repeatedly "When is dinner going to be ready?!" Use both cinnamon sticks - live a little!

So yummy! I made this for my parents while they were visiting. We ate every last meatball and practically licked the plates clean. I served it with Ina's Greek Salad.

These were soft & fluffy meatballs with a great flavor. I didn't add anything to the jar of sauce & used beef for the meatballs & all fresh herbs instead of dried - yum!

We loved the flavor of these! Only change I made was omit the cinnamon in the sauce and used 1 cinnamon stick instead of 2 based on some of the other reviws. Will make again!

These were really good and easy. I used 1 cinnamon stick, chili powder and ground turkey instead and it was a great recipe and yummy leftovers too!

I usually get annoyed when people change the recipe and then comment, but here goes...I LOVE these meatballs! I added 1 teaspoon allspice, and instead of putting them in the tomato sauce, I made a simple plain yogurt and mint sauce. These meatballs are fantastic, and sometimes I add them to a salad of farmer's market lettuce, cucumber, and tomato. The couscous instead of bread crumbs is brilliant.

I used fresh, instead of, dried herbs - maybe a little too strong for some tastes. I wish recipes would include both dried & fresh herb measurements.

We really enjoyed this dish! When I was ready to serve, I topped the dish with crumbled feta. OUTSTANDING

Not a fan of this dish. Followed the recipe, but I felt there was too much mint and too much cinnamon. My husband didn't enjoy it either. I did like the couscous in the meatball.
