This is a wonderful and quick recipe. I've taken it one step further and I rub fresh garlic on the baguette after I brush the olive oil on the bread. Everything tastes better with garlic!

I make this all of the time. It's not just good as an appetizer, but I make it as a snack as well.

This is an amazing sandwich. Very easy to make too. I used roasted garlic Ciabatta and spread a little pesto, added pepper and fontina cheese. My 9 year old picky eater had me make more sandwiches!! We had it for dinner, wouldn't work just for an appetizer!!!

Each holilday we encourage our kids to make a dish to contribute to the meal. My son has made this recipe for Easter and Thanksgiving as an appitizer. Of course we help with the oven peice, and he feels like a chef. He even has it memorized now.

This recipe is so wonderful. I had some pepper leftover from dinner so I had two of these the next day for lunch. Quick and so tasty! Thank you, Gida.

It's delicious and the kind of appetizer you can make when your guests are just arriving! Giada is still my favorite chef and each recipe is better than the next!

Simple and every bit as delicious as it looks, a real keeper! I used the suggested fontina cheese but substituted a multi grain baugette - gave it a nice texture. Am looking forward to trying the smoked mozarella version after we work our way through the fontina wedge!
