These are really good. I made them with vegetable soup. My husband really liked them also. Easy, delicious, and a perfect snack, side item, or appetizer.

My husband and I first made this with the smoked mozzarella and we loved it. It is our favorite Saturday night appetizer. It is also very yummy with the fontina cheese instead.

I think this is just an OK recipe. Not too good not too bad.
Giada's Italian Egg Sandwich is sooooo good though! It's so simple! Why didn't I think of it first?

VERY little flavor... needed salt, among other things. Thumbs down from everyone in my family. I am so glad I didn't make it for friends.

What an easy and great appetizer! Made it and everyone loved it. It was easy but looked elegant. My grocery store did not have smoked mozzarella so I used the Fontina cheese suggested. I would like to use a little smaller baguette as I thought the slices of bread were a little big but it was a winner and no one complained.

I didn't like this at all, I thought it was gonna be really good, and it was a big let down.

The combination of the smokey, salty cheese with the sweetness of the peppers is excellent. I used roasted peppers that I bought from my local Italian grocery, so that made the job even easier. Great crowd pleaser!

This is a great recipe for crostini - I am always looking for new, simple, and flavorful ideas for crostini, and this recipe really works. The roasted peppers are such an excellent match with the smoked mozxarella. I'm wondering, though, what recipe Melissa from Redondo Beach , CA was rating..."this was so easy to make and such a great appetizer- instead of bell peppers, i had to sub with some sun-dried tomato packed in olive oil and with a few anchovies and goats cheese.....mmmmm..." Sounds to me like she rated her own delicious-sounding "Sun-Dried Tomato Anchovy, and Goat Cheese crostini. It would be more helpful if those who submit ratings for recipes actually use most of the ingredients from the original recipe. Variation is great and inevitable of course, but really, if you didn't make "Sweet Pepper Crostini" - then why submit a review for it, and then say it was great, although I substituted all of the crucial ingredients?
