I made this one for a side dish to go with the drumettes. My wife said the mayo dip remainded her of a dip her grandmother used to make to dip crawfish tails in!

This was quick, easy, and absolutely delicious. My husband was a skeptic, but once he took a bite he was sold. I will make this side dish again and again.

I have tried various way to cook sweet potatoes, but never thought it will go so perfectly well with Basil! Sweet Potato Fries with Basil salt and the lemony Garlic Mayonnaise was a great hit with my family! Kids request to repeat this recipe whenever their friends come over.

I have tried to make sweet potato fries before and have never had such success and rave reviews. My husband and kids LOVE them, and the best part is that you can whip them up quickly and add them to your menu when there's a request. I'm keeping sweet potatoes in my pantry from now on so that I can make these on a whim!

I made these at a family meal. Everyone from age 3 to 64 loved these and had seconds. They were easy to make too!

unfortunately this is a klunker. sweet potatoes do not crisp up in a regular home oven, except very small, thin pieces, much smaller than called for in the recipe, and even theose are only slightly crispy. the basil salt was also a soggy mess, even though i used prewashed bone-dry leaves, they get moist when chopped.

These were a simple and delicious accompanyment to the balsalmic chicken. I used the idea of letting the pan preheat with the oven, and I cut mine a little thinner than recommended, and they were not soggy at all. The garlic mayonnaise was great too.

Haven't tried the fries yet but I have been making the mayo dip to go with artichokes for a very long time. It just doesn't sound right with fries. However, it is the best to have with artichokes if you are looking for an alternative to the more common dip of melted butter!
