I loved this recipe! Cooked it for my in-laws, who also raved. Could not find Swordfish fresh, so substituted ling cod instead and it was fabulous. Also took someone's suggestion and grated fresh parm-reggiano cheese just as the filets were coming out of the pan, and would highly suggest this. I also loved the combination of the greens with the lemon/ olive oil - it was a perfect parring with the fish. This is definitely a many time do-over :-

This dish is so fantastic- crunchy on the outside and tender & juicy on the inside. The arugula & watercress salad adds a nice fresh flavor combined with the light meatiness of the swordfish. My husband & 11 year old daughter absolutely loved this simple yet elegant dish, it is now one of our family favorites- thanks again Giada!!

This is a fantastic easy weeknight recipe. Swordfish, however, is a relatively high calorie fish, so beware! I estimated this to be approx. 500 calories for a 5.5 oz. piece of fish (which is admittedly large. Unlike other reviewers, I found the lemony dressing to be perfect with the greens and fish! A great counterbalance to the rich breading!

Anyone who thinks they don't like fish, try this. It was so delicious that we had saved the other half of the steak we had to try something different and decided immediately to to do this again! We did not do the salad part as we had crab cakes as appetizers, but the fish was INCREDIBLE! We had it w3ith Giada's farfalle and broccoli--what a meal!

We've been looking for a new swordfish recipe, and this is it. This recipe will work well with other fish that can be steaked like king mackerel, although salmon would probably not work with this.

We substituted spring greens for the arugula and watercress. For a recipe with so little ingredients it Swordfish Milanese has a wonderful flavor.

I am applying for the job as the person who reviews the "reviews"! I almost did not make this recipe because it only had a 4 star rating. I always go right to the 5 star recipes, but since I had a beautiful piece of swordfish and I love Giada's recipes, I decided to read the reviews for this dish. Boy am I glad I did. I made the dish and like the "majority" of the reviews, it is truly a 5 star winner. I think it is time to change the ratings criteria. While I appreciate that not everyone likes the same things, it's usually the people who haven't a clue about food/cooking that send in bad reviews, which in turn lowers the number of stars awarded to a dish.
