I was worried that the pesto was going to be too runny as some reviews had mentioned, but once I mixed in the parmesan, it thickened up perfectly. Next time I make it, I'll go a little light on the salt as it was a bit salty for my tastes. I also used cod fillets to keep the meal a little more wallet friendly. And now I have tons of leftovers!

I made this tonight for my husband and I, and this was delicious. While I was grilling the swordfish, I tossed some asparagus onto the grill with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Then chopped the asparagus and tossed it with linguini-fini pasta and the pesto. Placed the swordfish on top with a little dollop of the pesto, and the meal was delicious!
I took the other reviewers advice and didn't add the citrus juice, just the zest. Was really delightful. I will definitely make this recipe again!

It took me no time to put this delicious dish together. The pesto was light and refreshing, not heavy and rich. I served this with a salad of greens, roasted beets, pecans, cranberries, and avocado with a light balsamic dressing. All in all, a beautiful, healthy dinner in less than 30 minutes. Thanks, Giada!

We were surprised how good this was ... Sometimes Giada's dishes can be a little bland, but if nothing else they make great starting points. But this was SO good, as is! I'd never cooked swordfish before, but it was amazing and super easy. And the citrus pesto was incredible - such great flavors! We made this with spinach linguine, adding more of that pretty color that Giada's always talking about :- I can't wait to make it again.

I loved this pesto - great for summertime when "traditional " pesto seems a bit too heavy. I did not use quite as much cheese & pine nuts -- sticking more to a traditional pesto recipe on that end, and wanting a light, fresh pesto.

I used it with grilled swordfish, and with a pasta & salmon "salad" - served both warm and cold: just cooked up some salmon and tossed it with penne and the citrus pesto -- Beyond good.

Easy recipe. Major flavor that came through was the Lemon, after that it was a bit bland for my taste. It was worth trying but I won't be making it again.

Worked very well for a late afternoon dinner by the pool. Citrus was a nice take on traditional pesto. Grazie Giada.

This recipe is not only easy to make, but works great with salmon, mahi-mahi and even as a pasta sauce. This Giada recipe rocks!

This dish is great overall, but the Citrus Pesto alone is one of my favorite recipes. I have tried it with Giada's Salmon with Puff Pastry, which is delicious. I also like it on seared scallops.
