This dish was good but very, very rich. I doubt if I'll make it again.

I do not know what went wrong... I made the recipe exactly as it said... the potatoes were not completely cooked and the liquid was not absorbed. I had to cover it again and bake an additional 45 minutes, covered. Oh well... End result: Awesome

Giada, I made this last week Friday with lemon peper Panko crusted fish and cucumbers in cream. It was so good that today I'm making it with ham. Thanks for the wonderful recipe and keep them coming. Your fan!

This was a spectacular dish! I have always had difficulty making potatoes like this before. I only used white potatoes though and increased the cream slightly - I think I ended up with about 4 lbs of potatoes (we have a LOT of mouths to feed in our family!. Thank you for this yummy recipe that I will happily use for a very long time!

This recipe was amazing! My family couldn't get enough. The only thing I changed was using only half an onion & no thyme because my husband is very picky. Other than that they were delicious and full of flavor. The left overs were even better!!

These were absolutely amazing! I made them for my boyfriend and I tonight and we couldn't get enough! The only thing I changed was the types of cheese I used. I could not find the ones listed so I exchanged them for parmesan, monteray, and american cheese. I was worried about the change in the types of cheese but it worked out great!

Holy smokes! This recipe is out of this world! A real fiesta of flavor in your mouth! My entire family--ages 4 to 40---gobbled up these scrumptious, cheesy potatoes! Thanks, Giada for the rockstar recipe!
