I'd love to make this for an outdoor summer cocktail party that I'm having, but I'm trying to make as little work as possible for myself after the guests arrive. Does anyone know if any (or all of this can be make ahead of time?

The combination of flavors in this recipe are incredible. I did make a few changes and substituted romaine lettuce for the arugula as my husband does not like the bitter flavor of arugula. The romaine worked well. We also grilled the fish (used Chilean sea bass - ya, I know it's pricey but easy to grill and put a little blackening rub on the fish. This added great flavor to the fish. I could not find the large won ton wraps, so I used the small corn tortillas and made them into little bowls using the large muffin tins, and then I crisped them up in the oven just like the won tons. The flavor of the crispy corn bowls added a wonderful taste to this dish. Finally, I used grated wasabi from a tube instead of the wasabi powder. It was easy to find near the sushi bar in the grocery story. WOWEEE this was amazing in the creme fraiche.....I added quite a bit (at least a couple of tablespoons so that this topping had a little heat. I cannot wait to invite friends over for dinner and serve this delicious dish!

I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing!! They were so easy and fun to serve for a summer cocktail party. Everyone loved them! I made these along with the drinks and chicken drummettes that Giada made on this epispde for a light dinner/appetizers for my husband and I and another couple and there were not any leftovers so I will say that this only serves 4 (not 4-6. Great recipe, I can't wait to make these again!

I used flour tortillas and only the filling with salsa verde. I also cooked the fish in olive oil, and they are better than the fish tacos I have eaten in restaurants. Big ups Giada.

I took some suggestions from the reviews. I don't like wasabi and I couldn't find the fraiche, so i used sour cream and honey. I also used romaine lettuce from our garden instead of arugula-I don't like arugula. I thought it was easy to make and I would make it again. I like how quick it took to make.

I took quite a few shortcuts to work with what i had, but the combination of flavors is really delicious! I used corn tortillas instead of the wonton wrappers and it was perfect! Instead of using her dipping sauce since creme fraiche is more expensive, i just made a cilantro lime dressing using sour cream and it was wonderful!

    Great summer dish!

My family loved it, even my particular husband!!! Instead of creme fraiche I mixed wasabi in a tube with sour cream and a little mayo. Great summer dinner or pupu!

To get the wontons to cook all the way, I put the oven on 350 instead of 375 for ten minutes and then I took them out and put them in my mircrowave for 11 seconds then 22 seconds, this got the wontons to cook thoroughly and they got crispy!
