I just finished assembling this dessert.......Could NOT have been easier, and 24 lady fingers was PERFECT for the 1 1/2 cups of espresso !

This is a very good recipe, but it was really strong. I would use less rum. Also, you need way more ladyfingers than it calls for. I ran out. I made a 9 x13 pan, with three packages of 24 ladyfingers each. Also, I would consider brushing the ladyfingers with the espresso, rather than dunking, because they get soggy super fast.

I made this recipe for my mom?s b-day (she LOVES tiramisu and it came out great! I used puff pastry lady fingers and when I dunked the lady fingers into the espresso, I squeezed out a lot of the extra liquid before placing in the dish which helped ensure the dessert didn't come out to runny. Hope this helps!

I made this for Thanksgiving but I made sure that I had plenty of other desserts just in case it didnt come out right. To my surprise, NO ONE touched anything else! I was even short 1/2 lb marscarpone... I used a bread loaf pan and it made 3 layers. I also added 2 more spoons of sugar. 5 eggs and 1 egg white. I sprinkled with hersheys cocoa when I got ready to serve it. I also brushed the mixture onto the ladyfingers so that they did not fall apart. You also have to use the Italian ladyfingers so that they hold up. It set perfectly and I had no problems at all. I will make again and I will try different variations.

My wife just made this recipie. The number of Lady Fingers called for was not enough. The recipie called for 24 ladyfingers but this only covered the bottom layer so we had to run out and get some more. Hope this tip helps.

it taste so great i cant believe i made it within 30 mins!
be sure to use pasteurized eggs since you use them uncooked.
i added 1 more tablespoon of espresso into the the cheese mixture though

This was absolutely the easiest recipe I've ever had to follow. The result was amazing. Everyone that tried the tiramisu LOVED it and asked for seconds! I substituted the rum for 1 table spoon Baileys (that's all I had handy. The cheese was so easy to find at the local grocery store, I had thought that I would have a hard time finding it.
