Well, I thought the citrus cream was way too sour and so did my company. I added 1/4 more granulated sugar and 1/2 cup powdered sugar and it still was pretty tangy. The butter and honey on the pound cake made it really tasty though and everybody had seconds regardless and then finished off the cake by itself. I would make again, but next time, I think the zest alone would be sufficient.

Loved this. It has a few steps, nothing difficult, and is a great change of pace. I only used a couple of tablespoons of honey with the butter to cut back on sweetness. Loved the way it turned out. I made the citrus cream as directed. On the segmented oranges, which in the recipe are meant to be a garnish, I added another orange, 1/2 pint sliced strawberries, a little superfine sugar, and a touch of Grand Marnier and let it macerate. At assembly time, I spooned the citrus/strawberry mixture over the cheese mixture and pound cake kind of like a shortcake. Maybe next time I'll add some toasted sliced almonds. When blueberries are in season, I'll make a fresh blueberry/orange sauce and pour that over. Raspberries would be great, too. Great base recipe, truly different. Thank you, Giada!

I was watching the episode when she made it. It looked so light and simple I knew I had to make it soon. Luckily my boyfriend's parents had me over for dinner that day and they love desserts so I took the oppurtunity to make it. I'm always nervous when I make dessert for the first time but this recipe was so easy and fast. Everyone loved it especially my boyfriend's mom. She and my boyfriend loved the cream they found it to be the perfect balance of citrus. They even saved the extra to put on other desserts! I personally loved the pound cake especially the honey drizzle. It made the pound cake moist and chewier. I was in heaven. I can't wait to make this recipe again!

It was wonderful! I did make a couple of changes, I used half of the zest and increased the sugar to 1/2 cup. I toasted the pound cake on my griddle and omited the honey. Soooo Good! It was good with warm or cooled pound cake.

This is so easy and absolutely delicious. The honey toasted on the pound cake and the fresh taste of the citrus cream is so good. I took this to a friends house for dessert and made the cream ahead of time then put it all together there. We love it every time.

Absolutely fabulous! I am not much intro citrus things when it comes to dessert but this definitely changed my mind! I made it with all the ingredients Giada listed but just added a little bit more whipping cream (from 1/2 to 3/4 cup since I was expecting company and I just loved it! It was a huge success and I can't wait to make it again! Perfectly light & refreshing! A definite crowd - pleaser!
