I have made this recipe 3 times now and am still loving it. I am speaking of the Citrus Cream, not the Pound Cake. The mascarpone cheese makes it really special and the freshness of the zest and juices is fantastic.

I was not crazy about the store bought pound cake "treatment", so I made Paula Deen's Southwest Georgia Pound Cake instead...oh my god! What a great combo. We have also served this over waffles and it is great!

I made this tonight and I didn't have any oranges because I didn't like the ones @ the store I was able to get to this morning. I used a bag of frozen blackberries, frozen mango and fresh strawberries. Otherwise I followed the recipe. I had added the sugar to each of them individually. The citrus cream I made and that is sooo delicious!!! It's actually very easy and a crowd pleaser. Thanks Giada!!!

This recipe is delicious. I love the citrus cream so much, I may even try frosting some lemon cupcakes with it. SO good! I was out of honey once, so I sprinkled the pound cake with cinnamon and sugar, baked it, and it came out great! Definitely a great dessert to make for a crowd!

I made this recipe a few days after I saw the show. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was teaching a friend of mine a few cooking techniques and she had a blast making it. She was scared of cutting the orange out of the rind but enjoyed watching non the less. I am not sure if anyone else felt this way (and it could have been because I had a beginner do it I think next time I make it I will not use as much zest.
Overall, the flavor is amazing, it whips up in no time and it was a wonderful way to end on a summer's eve.

I went cheap and just used the cream. Whipped that up first, then added the other ingrediants. Yummy book club treat!

I saw this on tv the other day and it looked so good. When she was describing the flavors it made me really want to try it..so I did, THAT night. loved it! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. The citrus cream was amazing...light yet tasty!!

What's great was I loved toasted pound cake when I was younger so this reminded me of those days..now it's a little more "adult" with the citrus cream!

I'm gonna make it again for some friends that are coming over and I'm gonna try the chicken burger! Can't wait!

I don't particularly care for honey so I left it out of the recipe and it still turned out great. The citrus cream is awesome! I will definitely make this again. Does anyone have a substitute suggestion for the honey? I tried melted butter and a little bit of sugar thinking it would carmelize a little big during baking, but no such luck. However, like I said, it was still really good even without the crispy texture on the pound cake.

Everything turned out great and the citrus cream was amazing. almost too good for the toasted pound cake so I'll keep the recipe for that in my back pocket for a different use. definitely great for entertaining.

I liked the pound cake. First it was easy and i liked the crispy texture after baking. I would recommend flipping them half way thru so both sides are crisp. At first i was shocked by the citrus flavor, but then really enjoyed it. I topped it with strawberries since they are in season. Very tasty!!
