OMG, this cake was sooooo wonderful. So quick and easy, but elegant. I had a dinner party for 6 so this was a real "time-saver". Everyone loved it. Next time I think I'm going to substitute peaches for the orange on top. The citrus effect was good, but I prefer the sweetness of a peach. Still, a wonderful recipe that you must try. Keep up the good work Giada - We love you!!

The whipped cream came out too thick and the pound cake was just frozen pound cake not improved all that much with the addition of the honey and whipped cream.

The citrus cream is FABULOUS!!! Not that fond of the pound cake, but that's just me. Hubby LOVED it! I would try it with Angel food cake next time; although there is a lot of the cream left. It would also be wonderful over fresh berries!!! Thanks Giada!!!
