This recipe was absolutely FANTASTIC! A friend of mine who doesn't even really like vegetables took a second helping! The tastes are wonderful--I will definitely make this again ... it is a WINNER!

Easy and delicious, I added slices of eggplant on top of everything prior to the tomato slices and sprinkled all with basil before putting in the oven. Great vegetarian side dish

Wow!!! Amazing! Added extra pram cheese on top of veggie layer. I diced my potatoe, yam, carrot, and red pepper in bit size. Did 42 minutes and it was perfect so don't waste time par boiling veggies, just diced into bit sizes. I want more now. This will be made this Easter Sunday for sure!!

I love this casserole! I do dice the potatoes and carrots a bit smaller than instructed so that they cook as fast as the zucchini, tomatoes, onion, etc. which take less time to soften. A very good casserole and can be assembled ahead of time and put in the oven to finish if you're entertaining or even if you're not! It is definitely company fare but also good for family meals. I love the combo of all the vege's all in one fell swoop!

Very Good veggie dish! After reading some of the reviews I made sure to cut the potatoes very thin, scallop thin. Also it's important to cut all the veggies about the same size. That way they get cooked evenly.
My husband and I enjoyed it. Going to give the rest to my parents and it's a good dish for my diabetic father.
    Thanks again Giada!

This received RAVE reviews from our Italian American Ladies organization pot luck dinner. My only modifications, included Italian seasonings with the salt and pepper and with the bread crumb & cheese, again Italian seasons and garlic!
Will make again - grazie Giada

Absolutely wonderful! Most of my family avoid vegetables but they devoured this dish. I look forward to making it again.

good way to use up extra veggies...I agree with other viewers that the root vegtables need to be either parboiled or pre-baked before assembling the dish....and/or carmelize the onions.
