This recipe for stuffed shells is so delicious and a nice change from the typical stuffed shells. I took one star away because it is not my favorite stuffed shell recipe as I think adding the turkey in the filling makes it a little dry and less creamy cheesy goodness. I am going to try it without the turkey but with the artichoke and add a little lemon zest to the filling and some extra basil. Good start!

I am Italian. Second generation American in fact. I love this pasta. My Italian Grandma made a similar stuffed pasta but I never learned to make the filling. This one is close and so delicious.I altered it a little adding more cheese and fresh basil. I sometimes use fresh artichoke and pre-cook it. Delizioso.

This is a bit of work but worth it since I made it in bulk to freeze, as suggested. Although, after being frozen, it seems to lose a bit of its sauce and cheesiness, so I suggest you have some additional sauce and mozzarella in your fridge to add for reheating.

Wow! Everyone loves this recipe, kids, neighbors, new moms. One batch makes enough for three meals in my house, so it's a great dish for entertaining, when making a meal for your family & bringing a dinner to another family, or just for having a fabulous frozen dinner in your freezer. My kids bring it to school for lunch! I've made it to the letter of the recipe and made minor changes (differnt ground meats, pre-made sauce, canned artichokes and it's always great. It's perfectly balanced...filling but not heavy. Thanks Giada!

This recipe is easy, delicious and freezes perfectly! I have made it at least a dozen times now and I don't feel it's necessary to alter any ingredients - Buonissimo! The turkey meat is a light and healthy alternative to beef, and the flavor combination of turkey and artichoke is a marriage made in heaven! My Italian husband absolutely LOVES it (and asks for it often! and my friends couldn't live without the recipe after tasting it! Mille Grazie Giada!

This recipe was awesome. I altered it a bit and used Ground Pork because my store was out of ground turkey. I also used 1 can of artichokes instead of frozen. And I used two jars of store bought Arrabbiata Sauce. Even with all of these modifications, it turned out with amazing flavor and it was so easy. HOWEVER, if you use a full box of jumbo shells (I bought Creamette, you will definitely have more shells than you do room in the pan. You will also have more stuffing, so I was able to use a smaller pan and use up all of the filling and almost all of the shells. I also used all of the sauce between the two dishes. I froze the other pan and will re-heat when I need a quick dinner. All in all, a great recipe.

Very tasty. Definitely an impressive meal to make for company. I think I'll use more cheese next time. The red pepper flakes were a bit overpowering for my taste and we had leftovers, so the heat intensified as we ate it later that week.

This recipe is amazing as it is written. I have also modified the recipe by using the stuffing in a ravioli and then frying it, for a finger food at a party. Serving with the arrabbiata sauce for dipping. Rave reviews both ways. Freezes very well.
