Omg! This soup is divine! It was so good my husband ate 3 bowls before he left the table. I was scared he wouldn't like it, boy was I wrong! I tell u what I have made a lot of giada de laurentiis recipes and she has never let me down, they are always delicious. I will say this as soon as this pot of soup is gone I will make more. Yum! Yum!

Very good flavor, easy to make and very healthy. One of our favorite soups to make. You can substitute the rice for leftover pasta. If you think you will have leftovers, do not put the rice or pasta in the soup as it will absorb too much liquid overnight. Instead put the rice in the in the bowls as you serve it. You may also need more broth when you reheat it.

Always looking for a way to use ground turkey and kale. This soup is comforting and really easy to make. Will make again for sure.

I made this recipe exactly as it was written minus the onions which I don't like and never cook with and to me, it's a 4 star recipe. The next time I made it, I made a couple of substitutions which made it a 5 stars and that's the only I make it now - and I make it often - it's the perfect lunch: lean ground chicken instead of turkey, garlic instead of onions, wild rice instead of brown rice. Simply amazing and SO comforting!

I make a point to use only organic ingredients and follow the recipe to the letter (uhm. I do substitute onions for shallots which I never have it is so freakin good and gives credence to food being medicine. Giada said she makes it when she feels been indulging to get herself back on track and she's soon right

This recipe is amazing for a fall time soup! The herbs are perfect and make the broth super flavorful and rich. I did not like the rice in the soup however, so the second time I made it with white cannelini beans and felt it was a great substitute!

This is a delicious soup and easy for beginners. I have made it several times and I continue to tweak it. Instead of ground turkey I use ground chicken, which has a milder flavor. I also added sautéed Italian sausage for more flavor. The broth is so mild I added chopped garlic also with a large can of tomatoes with the juice. I eliminate the rice, don't need the carbs. also don't like herbs d'provence so leave that out. You can take this basic recipe any way that suits your taste or available ingredients. We love this soup!

Very tasty and extraordinarily easy soup, will definitely make again and again. I didn't appreciate the parsley at the end.

Very easy, tasty and filling! I omitted the brown rice since I am trying to limit the grains in my diet. I didn't miss it a bit! Even my 16 year old son enjoyed it...minus the carrots (he's allergic! But, he enjoyed it with the added fresh parsley and cheese! Delish!
