Very yummy! It looks beautiful with all of the colors, it tastes great, and is healthy. What more can you ask for?

This was a winner: quick and delicious. I followed the suggestion from another review to cook the rice with the soup to make it a true one pot meal and topped it off with a biscuit for good measure.

I really liked this recipe. It is super easy. I made a few changes most of which were good for me except one. I elimated the red bell pepper (don't like them, added a can of cannelli beans drained (good used italian seasoned turkey meat (ugh, won't do that again, i thought this gave it an artificial flavor. It was my first time using Kale and I really thought it was good. This is a keeper, other than adding the beans I will follow the recipe as stated next time using plain lean turkey meat.

This was a delicious soup. I substituted an onion for the shallots. This soup is a tasty way to get the important green leafy veggies in your diet. The whole family loved the soup including my 20 month old. I chopped the kale really fine so it blended more into the soup which I think helped the baby enjoy it more.

This soup was great. First time using herbs de Provence and kale. I wouldn't skip on either of those items in the soup. The herbs de Provence are so flavorful and the kale adds great texture. Will make this soup again. So nice to find a healthy yet tasty recipe.

Delicious! I used leftover turkey, chopped (reduced cooking time 5 minutes+. Also 1/3 less sodium chicken broth--it had plenty of flavor. A nice (light alternative to making chicken noodle soup.

Good, healthy soup. I bulked up on the veggies adding celery and zucchini. I also added garlic when cooking the turkey, because I love garlic. I didn't have herbs de provence so I used Italian seasoning since it had most of the same herbs in it. I didn't have kale on hand so I used spinach instead. Turned out great for this first day of snow fall.

This is a fabulous healthy, flavorful, yet hearty soup! It was my first time cooking with kale and I loved it. My grocery store didn't have the fresh kale on the stalks so I bought Glory kale in the large bag which is already washed and chopped so it made it all that much easier. I wouldn't leave anything out of this recipe - the red pepper, carrots and canned tomatoes add a nice sweetness while the ground turkey and brown rice give you that heartiness that will fill you up. I had to add more chicken broth at the end because the rice seemed to have soaked up more of the liquid. Don't think you need to drain the tomatoes either as you'll want that extra liquid. This recipe will go in my keeper file and I'll be making this regularly. Another great one from Giada! Love her!

Fantastic and simple! I also followed what Giada said on the show by adding the tomato juices. Other than that, the only changes I made were adding minced garlic towards the end of the veggie saute, and used what I had on hand instead of Herbs de Provence (basil, parsley and oregano. I prepped all the veggies the night before, so it was a super fast weeknight meal. Next time I will add more chicken broth and do as other reviewers suggested and buy ground turkey with seasoning.
