Great stuff, and easy enough for anyone to make. I use ground chicken - only because I don't care for the taste of ground turkey - and add some cilantro with the mint. I always make extra so we can have leftovers for lunch. We like to drizzle on some spicy peanut sauce too. There are several good recipes for it on this site, and Annie Chun's bottled version is the bomb, plus easier.

Wow, these are really different. I would not say delicious, but very good and healthy to boot. Do NOT make the mistake of smelling the fish sauce before you use it. It smells horrible and will turn your stomach. Just use it and it works out in the end. LOL. Nice to have something so very different. I could not find the Thai pepper so used serrano instead. Perfect amount of heat for us.

we loved this and will definitely be making it again. The only thing we didn't have was mint, it was still great, but I will probably try to find it next time. Lots of chopping for this recipes, but well worth it and after all the chopping, it cooks really quick.

Fresh, light, healthy, and a bit exotic. We used breast meat as ground dark meat was not to be had. We also topped with shredded carrots, cucumber and cashews. Very nice!

I really liked the fresh bright taste of this. I will try next time with tofu. My husband loved it and it was quick and easy to prepare. I had to go pull the lemon grass and that added time so get everything ready before you start. Low fat , low carb, great taste- a win on all counts.

Thank you, Giada! This is a wonderful dish. My husband is Thai and would never admit this to his mother, but this recipe is even better than her version (and with the turkey, it's even healthier too. I've introduced the recipe to friends and they all loved it as well.

Sauce is dead-on, and while I am not a particular fan of cabbage, it would probably would hold up better in terms of crunchiness than the butter lettuce. The recipie would likely work with ground tofu or ground shrimp as well. Would definitely make again.
