Amazing! I quartered a chicken and followed the recipe. Fabulous flavor. Loved the gremolata. Family asked for this every week.

tried this recipe after watching it on TV and it looked so gooood! I went home and tried it myself the first time, wasn't in love too much with the gremolota and neither were the wife and kids, so this weekend I dug the recipe again on this site and am gonna try it with a little more carrots, celery and onion to make it even more of a hearty meal and am not going to waste my time with the gremolota (makes for more of a budget also. Gotta have the fat and the skin on the Turkey I don't know why you would skimp out on that like some have said!!!

This was delicious but very fatty. I cut the oil down to just a couple of tablespoons. When cooking was complete, I set the turkey off to the side and strained the broth into a large glass bowl. Then I defatted the broth, removed the turkey skin, then put the vegetables and turkey back into the now, much lighter broth.

I butchered a whole turkey and cooked everything but the wings. Didn't use flour and skipped the Gremolata. Sprinkled the turkey with salt and pepper and seared, then went with the recipe. Came out great.

This recipe was really good. The smell as it was cooking was mouth watering. I also used only turkey thighs, and brined them for a few hours also. I doubled the vegetables and didn't quite dice them. If you can find turkey thighs -my store doesn't carry them all the time- this recipe is worth the effort.

This is easy and the taste is really good. I only used turkey thighs because that is what I had.

I made this over the weekend and it was absolutely to die for! I used turkey thighs only because I couldn't find breast at my store. It was so good. I also used a dutch oven to cook it in. The meat was so tender and falling off the bone. The sauce at the bottom of the pan was perfect. I even used it on top of the mashed potatoes I made to go along with the dish. The gremolata gave the dish a freshness. This recipe is a 10 in my book : Thanks Giada!

I have never made this myself but my mom has made it and it is delicious!!! She uses all turkey thighs instead of thighs and breasts and also adds orange zest to the gremolata and it is just so good. The meat falls off the bones and flavor of the sauce is incredible. She serves it with mashed potatoes. It tastes even better the next day!
