Oh my gosh!! I made this last Thanksgiving because in previous years my turkey had turned out dry and bland. This recipe is absolutely AMAZING! I love the Herbes de Provence and the fresh herbs and citrus you stuff in the turkey before roasting.... it definately makes the meat moist and flavorful! I've even used the same recipe when I roast chicked, and it turns out the same. I can't wait until Thanksgiving to try the recipe again.......

I made this for christmas 2004, it was the first turkey that I did on my own. What a great flavor the cirtus make for this turkey and if you make a gravy with these pan drippings you will be amazed. I also tried this with a chicken and added lime to the mix, also very good, GREAT GRAVY

I don't know what we would do without Giada!!!!! Every single recipe is absolutely AMAZING! This was by far the most succulent, fantastically moist turkey I've ever tasted, let alone made myself! I think the most important part is having the foil on it for the first part of cooking at 400, and then decreasing the temp when you take the foil off. Absolutely PERFECT turkey. I don't care for gravy so much though, and this one wasn't any better than anything I've tried, so don't feel compelled to make it - some pan drippings could just be poured on the meat and be just as yummy.

This was the first time I cooked a whole turkey without backup (that is, my mom telling me what to do. My husband said he didn't know turkey could be so moist! The herbs and the citrus add such a wonderful yet subtle flavor. I will be using this recipe next Thanksgiving, for certain. I'm not a big gravy fan, but this stuff was delicious.
I enjoy Giada's program, and I will be trying more of her recipes in the future.

I made this turkey recipe for the first Thanksgiving I ever cooked for. Everyone raved about the extra flavor the oranges and lemons gave. The herbs and citrus flavor also made the gravy absolutely fantastic.

Moist, tender, and the best tasting turkey I've ever had or made. So easy and fun - the smells were wonderful! THIS is the turkey that I will make from now on!
