I made this for my family last year and everyone said it was the best turkey I had ever made. Thank you Giada for an outstanding recipe. The turkey was deliciously moist and seasoned excellently. You cannot go wrong with this recipe.

Last year was the first year I cooked a Thanksgiving turkey. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this recipe! It turned out to be the most delicous turkey I've ever tasted! It was moist, flavorful and the juices made the gravy so good. I am cooking Thanksgiving again this year, and you can bet I'm using this recipe again!

I have to agree with other comments, it is the best turkey I"ve ever made. The herbs and citrus are perfect. I made it with a whole turkey breast so all of the citrus wouldn't fit in the cavity, but it was still great. I'm sure I'll make it again for the holidays.

THis has got to be by far the Best turkey that I have ever eaten. The meat was incredibly moist and the flavor, out of this world. I have also used this recipe to bake chicken and it turned out just as well as the turkey. This recipe is sure to be a family tradition at my house.

I consider myself a good cook. However, I never seemed to have much success whenever I roasted a turkey. My turkeys in the past were always bland and dry. However, this recipe has changed all of that. If you have any doubts whatsoever about making this recipe, please don't hesitate to try it. It's simply amazing. I have made this recipe at least 3 times, and I have also passed it along to other people who have made it and have also had great success with it. The turkey comes out extremely moist and delicious. Actually, the word succulent comes to mind. And the gravy is just out of this world. The best turkey gravy that I have ever eaten anywhere. Giada, you're the best! Keep them coming.

My husband and I had never cooked a turkey before. He received one as a gift from work, so we tried this recipe. We followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out amazing. It was very moist and tender. We've made it 2 times since then, and there is never any leftovers.

Last year was my first year hosting and cooking Thanksgiving dinner. It is THE holiday for my husband's family, and I wanted to make sure that everything was as perfect as it could be. This was NOT the way they traditionally did the turkey, and I think they were a little skeptical. But I followed the directions exactly and it turned out beautifully. My husband and in-laws have not stopped raving about it, and I plan to try a variation on chicken this week. Definitely worth the time and effort, and the fresh herbs make all the difference. Two thumbs up!
