Short version: Ordered fresh 10-13lb bird from Fresh Market and when went to pick up (earliest on list only had over 22 lb birds. Went to Publix and got supposedly 'fresh' but was frozen on inside and had no gibs, except neck. I have been cooking for 40 yrs as hobby and always try different recipes or ways. This way the best and most liked....moist and easy. This will be it from now on....Thank you Giada! Roger P Cook, M.D.

This is the best turkey recipe!!! I have made it for the past 3 years for Thanksgiving and it has now become tradition. My sister-in-law told me that it is really not that easy to roast a turkey but that I do a great job. It's truly a VERY EASY recipe and I turn out looking like a gourmet chef : The flavor is wonderful and the turkey comes out moist without any worry. TRY THIS RECIPE, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

I will definitely make this recipe again! The skin was so flavorful and this is the ONLY time my gravy came out good!! I didn't taste much citrus from what was stuffed inside but the smell was wonderful~LOVE the herbes de provence!! My turkey turned out a bit dry in some spots so next time I think I will try cooking it in bag based on past user reviews! Overall, it was still the best turkey I've ever cooked~I feel like a pro (like Giada!!

The BEST recipe I've found for roast turkey, so easy to prepare (I stuffed it the night before, the meat was full of flavor and didn't dry out at all, will most definitely use this recipe again, highly recommended!

Simply the best I turkey I've had. Easy to follow instructions. Beautiful presentation going into the oven as well as coming out. The turkey was flavorful but not overpowering and it made delicious gravy. This recipe is a keeper.

I decided to try this recipe because it sounded easy and delicious. It was both! I like the fresh moist taste not to over powering. It made possibly the best gravy my family and I had ever had. It is definitely a new tradition. One other plus was it cooked a lot quicker. I was able to cook my 21.33lb turkey in 4 hours. As opposed to the traditional 325 oven for 7+ hours.

I am a pretty good cook but always had trouble getting the turkey to stay moist. This year it was perfect. My kids had 4 Thanksgivings to attend and said by far this turkey was the best. They especially loved the crispy, herb flavored skin. They have proclaimed me the Iron Chef of Thanksgiving! Thanks Giada

This was the most delicious, moist turkey my family has ever eaten. It had a wonderful citrus flavor that wasn't over powering. We will definitely make this recipe again. It was a plus that it only took 2 1/2 hours for a 15 pound turkey!

This was my first turkey; all the years before Mom would cook the turkey. But this year I wanted to do something different. This recipe is so easy! And the turkey came out so juicy and tender! Thank you!!
