So easy - great on its own or with a meal. I add canned tuna if we're having it as a meal.

I have renamed this my Spa Salad. This is really good and versatile. I have omitted the cannelini beans and added roasted potatoes with the green beans, I also added hard boiled egg whites and tuna. It is very good with both beans too.

This salad was really easy and great tasting! I love the zing in the simple lemon and oliv oil dressing. The only complaint I have is (and I don't know if my head of romaine was smaller than the one she used that it seemed there was a lot of excess dressing. So next time I will maybe make the dressing seperate and use as needed, but overall i loved it!

This recipe was so full of flavor and simple to make. What a fabulous change from vinegar.

I was skeptical as to what the salad would taste like with just the lemon juice and olive oil as the dressing, however it was the perfect kick in the salad. I did add tomatoes since my spouse didn't want to try the beans and olives, but this recipe was simply delicious, I fell in love. Oh and I added broiled salmon. Finger licking good. Just what I needed to continue my plan to eating healthy and preparing my meals at home

I tuned in to the show only after Giada had the greens in the bowl so I thought the base was just torn greens.Ten minutes later I made it for my family along with R.Ray's Spaghetti and meatball stoup. The salad was easy and delicious -my version lacked only the string beans but was perfect. My family loved it and I will make it often.

I make a version of this salad at least twice a week. I add goat cheese, grilled chicken, kidney beans, olives - whatever I have on hand and have it as a dinner. The lemon juice is such a refreshing change from vinegar - I love it!!!

Not only was the dish prettier on TV but it just lacked flavor. It was just too blan, if I am going to have such a lite salad I need it to be full flavored and lite.
